Our Story

It all began nearly two decades ago creating small, interior awnings for a local vending company as a way to dress up the vending machines in local factories and companies in Indiana.   We quickly honed our craft and learned the awning business.  We invested in welders, metal benders and commercial sewing machines, quickly becoming well known for the quality in our hand built, sewn, and hand stretched awnings.  These practices drove the commercial business and before we knew it we were building large, intricate, beautiful awnings for businesses all over the state.

In 2004 the second chapter evolved as we broke ground on what would soon be our new 10,000 square foot facility in the industrial heart of Seymour, Indiana.  We moved in and we were quickly overwhelmed by the magnitude of our impressive new space and scrambled to move things along to justify the move.  It did not take long as our commercial awning business began to soar and we invested in a large format digital printer and plotter so we could produce the graphics for our commercial awnings in-house.to invest in great people and additional printers and a 10 color automatic screen press.  We put many hours into advanced education in all of our crafts, traveling all over the country to learn, grow, and become certified in what we do.  If you haven’t met us yet, come on down and stop in …we guarantee you will be impressed.

As sales in our commercial awnings continued to climb, we discovered there was a calling from our commercial clients for signs and banners.   In order to get the maximum potential from our investment in the digital printer, we began to offer vinyl graphics and banners to our clients.  That potential soon proved itself and before you knew it we had purchased a small manual screen press and began offering screen printed apparel to the same clients.  As those sales began to increase over the next couple of years, we decided to brand the graphics department with its own identity, subsequently, TAG was born.  An acronym of our already great brand, we were able to still service our additional clients and pursue new clients with no confusion over what we were offering them.
